City Plaza Hotel

A group of activists and refugees squatted this building in April 2016. Now, there are livig around 400 people from 13 different nations. Solidarians from all over the world help to organise kitchen, school and activities.

We helped in the kitchen and played with the kids. I met Jaffar, a chef, who was working and living in Germany for five years. Then our politics reclaimed Afghanistan to be a „safe“ country. Although he was speaking German and worked for part-time-companies, he was sent back to  Kabul. And lots of others…IMG_3814

The City Plaza is completely independent from any institutions. They are organising themselves in groups and shifts. Everbody who stays there is part. The waiting list for a room contains around 1000 people. It is crazy. There should be much more places like this, where people just can live. Without any papers.

I really can’t understand why people that are kind of integrated were sent back in a country where everything is destroyed and people have to face the terror of the Taliban everyday. Why our human rights don’t count for all human beings?

Fuck the system. Fuck the police. Fuck the government. They shouldn’t listen to all the fascists in social media. They are afraid to lose more votes. I hate this society.

Athens… first thoughts and impressions

I just came back from a short holidys in Greek/ Athens/ Exarchia. We got invited from Lina, who is studying via „Erasmus“ there. IMG_3669 IMG_3666 IMG_3662

Phillip and I landed on 02.01.2018 in the morning. We baught a 10€ ticket into the city. I had an adress and googlemaps showed us the way. It’s impossible to travel without that shit, to be honest.
