A group of activists and refugees squatted this building in April 2016. Now, there are livig around 400 people from 13 different nations. Solidarians from all over the world help to organise kitchen, school and activities.

We helped in the kitchen and played with the kids. I met Jaffar, a chef, who was working and living in Germany for five years. Then our politics reclaimed Afghanistan to be a „safe“ country. Although he was speaking German and worked for part-time-companies, he was sent back to Kabul. And lots of others…
The City Plaza is completely independent from any institutions. They are organising themselves in groups and shifts. Everbody who stays there is part. The waiting list for a room contains around 1000 people. It is crazy. There should be much more places like this, where people just can live. Without any papers.

I really can’t understand why people that are kind of integrated were sent back in a country where everything is destroyed and people have to face the terror of the Taliban everyday. Why our human rights don’t count for all human beings?

Fuck the system. Fuck the police. Fuck the government. They shouldn’t listen to all the fascists in social media. They are afraid to lose more votes. I hate this society.
