Why? I don’t know. 

Maybe because of this Hype that’s going on in Germany right now. Lots of German travel there these days.  Maybe because of the weather, maybe because it’s not the Israel Governent that’s in our news, but the Turkish.

Two years ago it was the opposite. Turkey was great but Israel was in war against Hamas again. August 2015. Nobody travelled there, except my parents, who told me how nice and peaceful everything is. Media has a fucking deep impact on everything. The reality is another one.

Anyway… my best friends travelled there as well for around two weeks. So I somehow jumped in that adventure, once again. Funny, because actually, I told myself to stay a while in cologne since Iceland. And I had other plans and now money. And only five days.

Israel, just managed to see Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem and some countryside around…. but it was mindblowing, interesting, intense. Exciting.  There are so many things we „learned“ and hear about these country and culture in Germany. I had lots of prejudices. A lot of people told me, not to speak about politics, when I want to make friends… I tried my best.

Before Israel,  I never understood, why everybody sees Antisemitism everywhere. In fact, I never met any Jews before.  And I never felt controlled or threatend by them.

Then I never could understand why these State was celebrated by many left activits. Everybody wants to protect it. As an anarchist I am always skeptical about any kind of State or Governent Power. I felt even more pity for the Palestines.

 

What else… I always was against any kind of monotheistic religion. It is the cause of suffer everywhere I thought.  And I thought Israel is full of strange religious fanatic people.

But I had to learn, that everything is much more  different and even more complicated then I ever thought. Much much more…

Nevertheless, the greatest fact was, to see that it is possible for different cultures to live next to each other in peace. Despite, what media tells you. The most important thing is, not to kill. To live and be nice to your neighbour. Everything elso is about money and power.

Fuck the system. Love the people. Help and believe in GOOD.
