… also in Tasmania we visited a nice Museum. The Mona, near Hobart as well. I really forgot to take pictures of the artists, but i hope they’ll never find out 😛 … Does somebody know???
This has been from Gilbert & George, which i really liked a lot!
… STREETART!! While others like to look for expensive watches (of course not my family – they prefer clothes and souveniers ) or diamonds what they hang around their neck, i like to look for nasty corners and „ugly“ ART. Here’s what i found…
… and the Touriprogram goes on… after just one day „relaxing“ in the hotel, we visited the blue mountains near Sydney.(When i say relaxing i mean not to go somewhere, but i – of course- did a lot. Had to move, sing and write my blog 🙂 My sister and her friend organised the food at the supermarket. And my parents slept all day, because they have to work kind of hard all the time and for them it’s their holiday of the year. I feel like having holiday for half a year now 😉 )
We decided to rent a car, that was really hard to find^^ and driven about two hours away from sydney…The traffic was kind of terrible.
And I wasnt allowed to drive the car, because „i am not used to“… (you know- in Down Under they drive left) so the friend from my sister did it all day… i was satisfied at the end, because walking through the mountains with all the people – again it was so fucking crowded- was kind of exausting…
My sister wanted to see nearly every silly point. But i f you’ve asked me, three would have been enaugh…We visited six i guess… and it took us all day.
In my opinion a few, maybe three, would have been enaugh. Because all you can find are more mountains and after a while, they all look kind of similar. But no way 😉
So i was happy to sleep in the car. And my sister was happy to see a lot different places. And at the end we really find some, with only a few visitors!
The landscape had something from a wild jungle…
Left my footprint there!
It was good that my family kind of forced me to go there 😉
It was for free and the landscape let you feel the power of nature somehow. Was fascinating to watch it. The pictures never can show that. But you might get an idea 😉
…typical Family- and „Touriprogram“ 😉 First I just wanted to see pingiuns and hoped to take some nice pictures from interesting animals. But then i found out some intersting things. Although the entrance was really expensive (about 40 Euro pp) and it took while to get in. It was really crowded.
Really nice view… yeah… the opera house ^^
But i liked the way the Zoo tried to explain that everyboday should take care of the environment. And all the profits go to organisations for saving and keeping the „nature“ and wildlife of Australia.
All profits go to benefits.
Also they had stuff like this…
And in one part for kids, they explained how importand it is to save and not waste drinking water. I wonder how many people really read and understand^^ but it is a good sign that they even try to reach the people with signs and information.
And now some animals^^ didnt saw too much i have to say, but at least pinguins!!
I start to think in english again and even with the German boy from the resception i only speak english. I already feel like coming home, when we get back to our hostel. The time is running so fucking fast, as always 😉 I am sad that we soon will leave Sydney…
Newtown is also called „Kreuzberg from Sydney“
But no words can descripe really. No picture, no sound, no video. Nothing. You will have to see for your own. But here are some points of MY view.
Like little Hippie-Boys from GermanyRainy… near this stupid Opera House.
