… seems so small on a map comparing to Australia, but if you are there it really is not! After one hour flight from Melbourne we landed on a tiny cute Airport in Hobart. The friend of my sister went by ferry because they already live in a camper since they start their work and travel a few month ago.

But it is too small for 5 people , so we rented a Camper for a week and traveled around and explored the wonderful nature and landscape of this tiny island south of Australia.

The first night, after we stopped on a random small but ugly rest area, we landed in the middle of nowhere. Around us only forest with a lot of trees and nothing give a hint that humans being are using this, that means no rubbish at all. Of course there were rubbish bins and benches.
Here we made a campfire, had bacon and olives for dinner and watched the stars. As we arrived when it was nearly dark and i just worried about eating and making fire i didn’t recogniced that there have been toilets. I didn’t asked and nobody told me ^^ I somehow was complete convinced that there couldn’t be toilets at all. Next day i was happy then to notice 🙂
My sister already knew, because of their smart app. With that they find all the places where caravans can park and there is a lot of information about details given. F.e if there are crocodiles or showers, a bbq making thing or power.
